What does owning a Location mean?
When someone books a Local Kindness service in your suburb, the booking comes to you.
You set your services, prices and availability. We send you the details at least 40 hours before the job.
You provide the service, mark the job complete and get paid.
No service is on until you turn it on. You can offer one thing, or several. Nothing is compulsory.
If you want to grow later, you can add services you choose and work with local people or businesses.

What's included
- Your suburb website. Choose a business name and a photo for it. The photo doesn't have to be of you, and you don't have to use your personal name. Add your services and prices; Local Kindness hosts the site.
- Services you choose. Bins In/Out, Dinner for Two and Kindness Delivery are three ideas to consider. You decide what to offer and can add your own services.
- Bookings you can plan for. Customers book and pay online. Every job is booked at least 40 hours before it begins, so you can see what's coming.
- Local suppliers, set up once. Agree with a florist, baker or other supplier on what they'll provide and the price. Local Kindness then sends each relevant order to them in writing and arranges their payment before the job. Clear orders and reliable payment make you the kind of customer they'll welcome. You don't have to place or pay for each order yourself.
- Your payment. Once the job is done, you mark it complete. Your share is released after the scheduled start time has passed.
- Help getting started. Launch materials, a 30-day introduction and ongoing improvements to the platform.
Bring a neighbour's bins in. Charge $15. After our 10%, $13.50 is yours.

A booking can arrive today. The job is at least 40 hours later.
If the job uses a florist, baker or other supplier you have already set up, Local Kindness sends them the order. You do not place it again.
You get that time to plan your run and turn up walking, not dashing — with time to smile at the door.

You get your own Location website, with bookings and payments handled. You choose the services, local suppliers and prices, so you can see what each job will earn you before you offer it.
For each completed job, supplier costs are paid first. You receive 90% of the amount left; Local Kindness receives 10%.

- Compete with another Local Kindness Partner in your Location.
- Learn complicated software or technical systems.

How Locations work
Local Kindness is built around one simple idea: one Location, one local Partner.
A Local Kindness Location is one suburb. The Partner who holds it chooses which services to offer, and nobody else can claim that suburb. Services can be added later.
If your Location is available, you can claim it.
Once claimed, it becomes your Local Kindness Location — your local business, supported by the Local Kindness platform.
